The values
The Beyond Limits "spirit" is found at the crossing of several passions. The passion for climbing and trekking, for extraordinary nature and outdoors, for mental and physical challenges. A passion for people and local cultures.
A Beyond Limits adventure is always a unique experience with peers. People with the same background but with their own ambitions, working together to fulfil this shared dream and challenge.
A Beyond Limits adventure is above all else a sentimental and emotional affair. It brings people together, closer, in a tight network. This personal connection also creates business loyalty.
Respect for the environment and the local cultures
With our passion for nature and local cultures in mind we keep a close eye on our ecological footprint, with respect for nature and the people living there.
We collect the waste generated during our tip.
We involve as much as possible the locals in our expeditions and share our passion with them. We distribute for instance clothing or share our expedition doctor with them.
Charity
Charity within the Beyond Limits organisation is structured and permanent. Beyond Limits 2010 supports the Daniëlle Children's Fund (DCF).
Since 2002 DCF is running projects in and around Kathmandu, in partnership with FUNDCCIN (FUture for Nepalese Disabled Children and Children in Need).
The Child 'N Family education center offers a day care to 30 children of the poorest families in Kathmandu. Their parents will be closely involved through workshops and home visits. The goal of this program is to raise family awareness on education and healthcare: DCF will accompany the families to assume their own responsibilities in raising their kids.
