Beyond Limits in a nutshell

No fewer than 36 companies and institutions have already sponsored previous Beyond Limits expeditions. 91company teams have already enrolled as participants in an expedition!

300.000 pages were consulted on our web site beyondlimits.ws : a serious rise in the number of visitors on our web site since the launch of van Beyond Limits.

Some 250 people followed the expedition daily in 2009.

In 2009 Beyond Limits collected some EUR 20.000 for the Verkaart Foundation. Twelve orphans in Kenya will receive education under the supervision of the Verkaart development team for a period of four years

In 2008 the ICTExpedition Nederland raised almost EUR 14.000 for:

• Right to Play, an international NGO that uses sport and play programmes to improve health, develop life skills, and foster peace for children
• Close the Gap, for the building of a classroom with 15 to 20 computers and other requisites in Lyamungu Moshi (Mwowe Primary School), in Tanzania

In 2008 Beyond limits donated some 15 portable computers (ICT Expedition Belgium 2008) to Danielle's Children Fund for shelters in Ecuador and Nepal

In 2007 the ICTExpedition 2007 contributed EUR 2.400 to the production, delivery and installation of 100 Heavy Gassifier Stoves in the mountain village of Sundarijal in Nepal through the Foundation for Sustainable Technologies (FoST)

In 2006 the ICTExpedition 2006 donated two pallets of high quality IT material to Close the Gap for different projects in Tanzania
