Participants information
What's in it for you?

A once in a life time experience with a group of peers and so much more:

  • Each participant is intensively and carefully prepared for the expedition. Beyond Limits handles the accompaniment from a till z.
  • As soon as you're part of the team, you'll be submitted to a physical effort test and a medical examination in the sports centre Nottebohm in Brecht. Based on these 2 examinations an individual training plan/advice will be set up for you.
  • During information meetings the Beyond Limits Organisation will give you all necessary information that will allow you to get fully prepared for the expedition.

These information meetings tackle :

  • The progress of the preparations
  • The detailed programme before, during and after the expedition
  • Information on the medical tests, effort tests and individual training schedules
  • Advice on nutrition
  • Information on the group trainings (3 weekends)
  • Information on gear and clothing

Each participant will receive carefully selected gear and outfit, suited for this expedition.
The new gear will be delivered by renown outdoor brands and stay your property after the expedition

  • Various workshops on travel and nature photography, personality profiling and communication, "getting inspired by climbing" by a famous alpinist
  • Expedition itself : flights and transfer, expedition guidance, gear, inland flights, insurance, food and drinks, stay

After the expedition each participant will receive a professional expedition film and photo book.

Before and after the expedition you'll be invited to attend the press and sponsor evening.

Various media will report on this expedition, also thanks to the charity initiative linked to it.

Alongside the expedition which will last some 12 days (including the transfer to and from the destination) for the Nepal expedition and 10 days for the Djibouti expedition, more or less 10 activities are organised before, during and after.

"An expedition is so much more than just climbing a mountain. It's about planning and tactics, and showing respect to the team and to nature, by making the right decision at the right time. That's the only way to get to the top."
